The Association of Polelathe Turners and Greenwood Workers was created in 1990 by a dozen like-minded individuals who wanted to rescue the art of polelathe turning and greenwood working from obscurity.

The organisation now has a global membership of over 770. Its stand will feature the practical nature of this craft and the artefacts the members produce.

© 2012 Turners Company The Worshipful Company of Turners is a Livery Company of the City of London. Founded as a Guild in 1295, its Royal Charter was granted by King James in 1604. Four hundred years later, in 2004, the Turners Company organised the first Wizardry in Wood Exhibition. Exhibitions were also held in 2008 and 2012. The fourth exhibition will be held in 2016.
