Register of Professional Turners (RPT)

The Register of Professional Turners was created by the Turners' Company to encourage the grouping of professionals and give a present-day identity and framework to the centuries old craft of woodturning.

The Register is composed of turners who offer a professional service to the public, and whose work, prior to admission, has been approved by competent assessors as being of good quality.

© 2012 Turners Company The Worshipful Company of Turners is a Livery Company of the City of London. Founded as a Guild in 1295, its Royal Charter was granted by King James in 1604. Four hundred years later, in 2004, the Turners Company organised the first Wizardry in Wood Exhibition. Exhibitions were also held in 2008 and 2012. The fourth exhibition will be held in 2016.
